I’d like to see more than one page of Active topics. Would be handy to be able to go back more than a few hours in the event that i haven’t checked in in a few days.

Good idea. Multiple pages, or two columns would work.

With Bob’s free time attention turning to outdoor activities it might not be considered until fall.

phpBB Active Topics implements a drop down list with

all results

1 day

7 days

2 weeks

1 month

3 months

6 months
1 year

That would cover most requirements.
